Ok so we can't figure out how to display the names of users after they've voted, so vote above and comment below if you are coming!

WHERE: World bowl; Richmond hill. (9 E Wilmot St, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1A3) ‎ worldbowl.ca
WHEN: Sunday July 28th, 2:00PM

As we mentioned before, this is a groupon, so it's a flat fee of $27 for 90 Minutes of Bowling with Shoe Rental for Up to Six People.

PM either me or Sara if you need our phone numbers.

***Please confirm if you're coming by tonight, because we have to purchase the groupon soon!***

Woooooooo let's go bowling.

WHO: YOU. Everyone. All the people, doesn't matter if you've never attended a talkut event before. Invite your friends. Invite your neighbors. Lalaith, bring your turkey.

WHERE: World bowl (best bowl) Richmond hill. (9 E Wilmot St, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1A3) ‎ worldbowl.ca
WHEN: you guys choose, but Sunday seems like a solid day of the week  :D
WHY: because it will be hilarious and fun and you've been meaning to play with heavy balls for a while. Also world bowl has those little bowling helpers for children and the near sighted, so it doesn't matter if you suck. We can put the gutters up.

It's a groupon thing so, as if this wasn't tempting enough, it's dirt cheap! A little less than $5 a person for 1.5 hrs, including shoes!!!!!! I may or may not pretend this is a birthday party so I can bring cake.

I am sure I'm missing information here but it's 1am and I will add things as I remember.

OK guys, this is it!  Let's do this up right with some beer and bonfires and BBQ.

OK!! Date has been selected.  This is all going down on Friday the 12 and Saturday the 13th.  People can start arriving Friday at 3PM and the BBQ will be eaten at 7PM.  This will give people coming from work time to get there.  Bonfire begins at sundown.  People can leave after breakfast Saturday at 11AM.

Please remember that this is a potluck; bring your favourite dish to share! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AshrFiY9-U5hdGV3RUdaUm13c21meWFOV1EzVkk2dWc#gid=0

Due to prevailing opinion we will make this just a farm trip this time around and try for the cottage in August.

Love Rob and Deb

Please let us know if you can drive and how many you can take in your vehicle. Here's another Doodle link to help sort out rides. I think we need to get the drivers to put their info in the Google Doc file first. Then maybe people can sign up with the driver that best fits their schedule. http://www.doodle.com/f3szhfiaix2ith95

As always, everyone is welcome, especially our newer TalkUT members or those who have not come to an event before.  Looking forward to seeing you all very soon!

For those of you interested in vet school, here is a 2-day awareness level certificate course (both theory and hands-on instruction).  You will have the opportunity to meet and network with veterinarians, animal rescue workers, vet techs, firefighters, police, animal trainers, and large animal owners.

Please share this information with friends and colleagues so we can make this course a success.  If there is enough interest, we plan to offer an operations and a technician level course in future.

Post here or PM me for further details if you're seriously interested.

I know a somewhat elderly lady residing near Victoria Park Avenue and Eglinton Road and is looking to rent out space. She said she's 5 min from the subway

U of T spring reunion is happening later this month, and grads of any year are welcome to attend. There are certain events geared to "honoured years" or specific colleges/ professional faculties, but other events are welcome to anyone (as well as guests, if you have friends who haven't graduated yet).

One of the better events is the Young Alumni SHAKER, which is just a night for recent grads to chill, meet other grads, and network. People have found new friends, connections to new jobs, and even love interests.  It's always held at a swanky venue downtown, and there is guaranteed to be amazing food to snack on. Cash bar as well.

SHAKER actually happens 3-4 times a year, but there is always one coinciding with spring reunion. The previous one celebrated Chinese New Year and was held at the Metropolitan hotel ; while other past events were at the Trump Hotel; Spin Toronto ( a ping pong lounge), and the TIFF Bell Lightbox.  It's a free event, but the only catch is that U of T has a table set up for you to donate money to them (no pressure- it's only if you choose to do so).

Sign up at https://springreunion.utoronto.ca/events/find. For Step 1, it's OK if your grad year isn't listed, just leave it set to "ALL". You're still welcome, it's just that you're not one of the specially "honoured" grad years.
